This position is for you!
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Develop and maintain scalable, robust, and secure applications in PHP (Drupal, with exposure to WordPress).
- Design and implement REST APIs and integrate third-party services using OAuth2/JWT.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following standards and best practices.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests (PHPUnit) with solid coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions aligned with client goals.
- Set up and manage environments using Docker.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines (integration, automated testing, deployment).
- Optimize performance (profiling, caching, monitoring with New Relic).
- Ensure security (OWASP), proactively detecting and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Mentor junior profiles and contribute to documentation, handbooks, and technical initiatives.
We are looking for you if you
- Have 6+ years of experience in PHP with strong expertise in Drupal and exposure to WordPress and/or other CMSs.
- Have experience with REST APIs and secure authentication (OAuth2/JWT) within Drupal ecosystems.
- Have experience using Docker for Drupal development environments.
- Have experience with CI/CD for Drupal deployments (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / CircleCI).
- Have experience in testing and debugging using PHPUnit and Xdebug.
- Have experience with MySQL or MongoDB.
- Have experience with Acquia Cloud ideally (or alternatively AWS/Azure).
- Are fluent in English (direct communication with a US-based team)
- Are based in LATAM
Desirable skills
- Experience in Frontend development: JavaScript, React, or Vue.
