About the position:
We’re partnering with a large U.S. public company in the connectivity, internet, mobile, and digital services space, with operations across 41 states and a network that supports millions of customers and connected devices. The company supports a massive technology footprint and is investing heavily in public cloud modernization.
The company is investing in a multi-year cloud modernization initiative and building a nearshore team of hands-on engineers to support GCP-led infrastructure, Terraform/GitOps workflows, CI/CD automation, and reliable cloud operations at enterprise scale.
In this role, you’ll get to:

Develop GCP cloud architectures, including solutions for compute, storage, security, and networking, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Work alongside development, operations, and security teams to integrate systems and streamline processes

Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure and application issues across the GCP environment.

Use scripts and infrastructure as code practices to automate deployment and management processes.

Implement monitoring tools to ensure system performance and optimize resource utilization and cost.

Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.

Keep abreast of GCP product releases, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously improve cloud services.
We are looking for you if you
Desirable skills
- Hands-on AWS experience (for example EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) to support multi-cloud workloads (Strongly Preferred)
- Experience in containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, with GKE.
- Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect (primary), Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or other Google Cloud certifications, and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (a plus)
