About the position:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being deep in the code, can ramp up quickly, communicates clearly in a distributed team, and consistently delivers production-ready work.
Main Responsibilities:

Build & Enhance Application Features: Design and implement new product capabilities and enhancements using C# (.NET) and Java; Translate requirements into clean, maintainable implementations with thoughtful edge-case handling; Contribute to technical design discussions and propose pragmatic, scalable approaches.

Maintain & Improve Existing Systems: Debug and resolve defects across services and applications in both C# and Java codebases; Refactor existing components to improve reliability, performance, and readability; Reduce technical debt through disciplined improvements aligned to team standards.

API & Integration Development: Build and maintain service interfaces (REST/HTTP and/or event-based patterns where applicable); Integrate with internal and third-party systems while ensuring resilience and maintainability; Write robust input validation and error-handling patterns suitable for production use.

Quality, Testing & Engineering Excellence: Write unit tests and (where relevant) integration tests to ensure correctness and prevent regressions; Participate in code reviews; give and receive feedback with a high bar for quality; Follow consistent coding standards and documentation practices.

Collaboration & Delivery in a Remote Consulting Model: Work effectively within a remote team operating on ET business hours; Communicate progress, blockers, and tradeoffs clearly and proactively; Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and smooth handoffs
